The primary goal was to learn about the most significant challenges that community health workers faced while providing healthcare in this remote area. Here were the precise goals of the research: This study aimed to determine how community health workers in Khor of Harar Ward were impacted by the resources that were available to them. In order to find out how much of an improvement in performance and service delivery community health workers experienced after receiving training and education. The purpose of this study was to analyze how Khor of Harar Ward's infrastructure and amenities affected community health workers' daily tasks. We wanted to learn more about the cultural elements and community involvement that had an impact on the struggles and triumphs faced by community health workers in this remote region. Community health workers (CHWs) in Kenya's Khor of Harar Ward were the subject of this research. A census sample approach was used to include all members of the target population, which consisted of 104 CHWs. The research gathered data on several variables influencing CHWs using closed ended questionnaires that included Likert scale answers. Collecting data included research assistants helping with questionnaire administration in accordance with the study methodology's ethical concerns. After that, we used Excel to process and analyze the data descriptively, and then we displayed the results visually using graphs and charts. The purpose of this study was to shed light on the factors that helped and hindered community health workers (CHWs) when it came to providing quality healthcare to the people in their communities. By focusing on these particular goals, the research hoped to shed light on ways to make rural community health worker programs more efficient and effective, which would help improve healthcare for underprivileged areas like Khor of Harar Ward. The results showed that CHWs had different views on the availability of resources, which emphasized the need for fair distribution and effective procurement processes. The significance of ongoing education and individualized programs to strengthen capacity was highlighted by the fact that training and education had a favorable effect on CHW responsibilities. Investment in infrastructure development efforts was necessary since CHW efficacy was dependent on infrastructure support, which included transportation and access to facilities. The significance of building alliances, learning about cultural norms, and communicating better with the community was also highlighted as critical to the success of CHWs, along with cultural sensitivity and active community participation. To sum up, the research showed how many variables affected CHW effectiveness and how important it was to take a comprehensive approach to solving problems with rural healthcare delivery. Boosting training and education programs, investing in infrastructure development, boosting resource allocation and management systems, and creating community collaborations were the primary suggestions for successfully supporting CHW operations. These suggestions were made with the intention of enhancing healthcare accessibility and results in rural areas such as Khor of Harar Ward by bolstering the capabilities of community health workers.CHALLENGES FACING COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKERS IN RURAL AREAS A CASE STUDY OF KHOROF HARAR WARDArticle
