    FACTORS INFLUENCING LOAN PERFORMANCE OF SAVINGS AND CREDIT COOPERATIVE IN KENYA: A CASE STUDY OF AFYA SACCO LIMITED

    This study was to determine factors influencing loan performance of savings and credit cooperative organizations in Kenya with reference to Afya Sacco Limited. The study considered the following specific objectives: organization policy, loan defaulting, pricing and competition and how it affects loan performance of Sacco’s Limited. This study shall be beneficial to the Afya Sacco Limited, other Sacco’s as well as other researchers. The study used descriptive research design for it described the population the way it was. The target population for the study was 84 employees who work in the organization at different levels of management. Stratified random sampling was used as the sampling technique and data was collected through questionnaires while data analysis was informed of qualitative and quantitative techniques. Presentation of findings was done through tables and graphs.
