The study also established that standardization of the goods procured had an effect on the adoption of e – procurement in the process. In regard to the resource availability, the study established that the university did lack resources but there was lack of management support in the adoption of the e procurement in the procurement process. The results further indicated that the university had enough volumes of goods to be procured that warranted them to adopt e procurement. The study established that only few respondents agreed with the statements indicating that the low level of adoption of e procurement in the university could not be attributed to e procurement solutions available, the standardization of the goods, resource availability or the level of volumes being procured by the university.
