This study looks into the complicated parts of negotiating purchases at the Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS). The study aims to investigate the factors that influence effective negotiations in the procurement process. This operation uses a mix of qualitative as well as quantitative methods, such as case studies, surveys, and data analysis, to find out about important factors in an efficient way. The study will involve approximately 30 participants from different levels of the procurement hierarchy within the Kenya Red Cross Society. Some of these factors are supplier relationship management, negotiation strategies, ethical concerns and a dedication to sustainability. The discoveries of this study revealed important information about how humanitarian organizations negotiate acquisitions, which can be used to improve their buying strategies. Recommendations majorly include ethical training programmes and continuous improvement plans. Organizations like the KRCS could enhance their procurement methods, improve their relationships with suppliers, and carry out their goal more effectively and efficiently by acknowledging and employing these factors.
