dc.description.abstractThe quest for new knowledge is an innate essential of every human being. Throughout the human beings’ existence, it has been an accepted fact and an agreeable belief that whoever knows more has more in all aspects of society. Knowledge drags along with-it power, skill, wealth and an overall better view and approach to life issues It is based on this fact that one of the greatest investments in a society is education. The more input into education, the more output it brings. Governments and organizations alike have included education as a basic human right in them constitutions, rules, policies and statutes. Technology has swiftly and with an immense pace taken over every aspect of the society, and education is no exception. It has been used to augment the traditional teaching methods. Technology is a facilitator in several ways, by generally introducing new models and especially in a teacher-learner-content circle. The impact of technology cannot be underestimated; it has the power to alter the model of teaching by introducing a new approach to teaching. The model offers a link between facilitators and the student with content, and professional sources of educational materials to personalize the learning process. The end result of learning is to gain experience. At this note therefore, an individual should always change and alter the thinking habits to the surrounding environment. Additionally, learning is shown clearly by the demeanor of the person. Education is a basic need of the society, and societies can utilize it as a driving to gaining economic and social milestones in terms of development. A view of highest performing country economies and GDP’s point to the fact that most of the populace are highly educated. In some instances, some societies regard and equate education to life. Many institutions, over the time, have integrated both the eLearning and face to face learning odes, so as to fit in every need of students from different walks of life and interests too.
